Client Data:

Leads and Clients can withdraw consent at any time by sending Portt an email or by using the unsubscribe link on any marketing email that is sent by Portt.

Client Data means Personal Data we collect from visitors to our websites, data we collect about our customers or prospective customers, vendors, service providers, professional advisers, consultants and other third parties in the course of doing business.

Portt is the Data Controller in relation to Customer Information.

Customer Data

As a Data Processor, we will process all Customer Data strictly on behalf of our customers in accordance with our contractual agreements with them and/or as required or permitted by law.

Customer Data means Personal Data which our customers and/or their end-users input or upload into the customer portals or services provided to them by Portt. This does not include Client Data collected directly by Portt for business activities such as sales and marketing.

Portt is the Data Processor in relation to Customer Data.

1.2 Information Collection and Use

 

While using our Sites, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name (“Personal Information”).

Portt is committed to protect the privacy of our customers. This privacy policy applies to www.portt.com and the Portt web application owned and operated by Portt.

Portt will share the collected information in order to respond to warrants for investigations, court orders, legal process, or to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Portt’s terms of service, or as otherwise required by law.

Out of respect for your privacy, you may choose to stop receiving our marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in all emails. If you purchase a service, you can still opt out of marketing related emails however you cannot opt out of service related announcements.

Our web site may include Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button, and Widgets, such as the Share This button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our web site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Portt will retain Client Data for as long as is needed to provide the subscribed services to our customers. 

Where we process and store Client Data for marketing purposes, if you opt-in to receive marketing communications from us, until you opt-out. If you do not opt-in, but choose to get in touch with us using the Contact Us form on our website, we will retain your data for 12 months in order to communicate with you.

We retain Customer Data processed by us for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected in line with our contractual agreement with our Suppliers.

We may retain Customer and / or Client Data for longer periods where required by applicable law or regulation, or to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights as provided for in the data protection legislation.

By using our web site, in most cases you will transfer data to Australia. By choosing to visit our web site or otherwise provide information to us, you agree that any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in this Privacy Policy will be governed by the law of NSW, Australia and the adjudication of any disputes arising in connection with us or our website will be in accordance with the laws of NSW, Australia.
